MEET HALFWAY AND MAKE GOOD ON THAT PROMISE TO GET TOGETHER!
“Oh - we haven’t seen you for so long, let’s get together soon.” That’s what we have all been promising ourselves after a very difficult year or so. Separation from friends and family, especially those who live further away from us, and not having those special get togethers we all look forward to, has made us realise just how valuable quality time with our loved ones is.
So - don’t waste that time preparing the house for overnight guests, making up the spare beds, doing the shopping, cooking, washing up and worrying about playing host. Meet your friends and family halfway at Moat House Acton Trussell and let us put on the get together you all deserve.
There’s simple pleasure to be had by heading to a special place, slipping on your best clothes, seeing your favourite people, enjoying a pre-dinner cocktail and a sumptuous meal together that you would never have prepared for yourself at home. Relaxing, being waited on, with good beers, wines, plenty of laughter and maybe a little nightcap before bedtime… in a bed that’s mere footsteps away. After a good quality night’s sleep, all refreshed and ready to start the day, with a hearty breakfast, relaxing and chatting over old times and making new plans with friends, before heading home or enjoying a day out, at one of Staffordshire’s gold-standard visitor attractions. These simple pleasures are within easy reach.
MEET HALFWAY
You would not believe how accessible we are from junction 13 of the M6 motorway, and yet at the same time, we are a world-away from the everyday. Meet, eat and stay at our special place, a 14th century manor house, surrounded by landscaped gardens and water, set in the heart of Staffordshire’s countryside. Centrally located, we host guests from Scotland who meet those from the south coast. From Coventry, who meet friends from Liverpool, and families who travel across from Nottingham to reconnect with those from Shrewsbury.
Wherever you and your favourite people are, we’ll bring you closer together. Closer to that first thirst-quenching cold drink sat beside our lake, watching the swans glide by. Closer to the original Grade II listed manor house bar, ahhh a traditional historic country pub, how we’ve missed you! Closer to dinner in our Orangery restaurant, which boasts 2 AA Rosettes, and a well-considered, seasonal menu, prepared with fresh, local ingredients and special occasion dining in mind. And what is more special than sharing time, enjoying the company of those you’ve missed?
This is so much more than the term “Dinner Bed and Breakfast” implies. Now is the time to make good on those promises to meet halfway, and get that getaway, underway.
