From the welcome at reception everything was perfect. The room was lovely and we had lovely view over the beautiful pound with Swan nesting and ducks. Dinner in the restaurant which also has marvellous views and the staff work as a great team providing an exceptional service to the highest standard. The food was locally sourced and tasted great. After a great nights sleep the full English breakfast was amazing.

  Fabulous stay

One night stay en route home.
Beautiful picturesque setting with outside seating with the ducks and other wildlife, very cute.
Inside the hotel is lovely and our room did not disappoint, large family room with loads of space for us all.
The restaurant was closed so we ate in the bar and the food was delicious and the service very attentive and quick.
Special mention to the hotel receptionist we had at check in who was very accommodating and helpful.
Would definitely stay here again.

The Moat House is a lovely restaurant especially in the Orangery, we went for steak night, we chose the 10oz rump and it was cooked to perfection, (medium) it was really well presented.
The Moat House is the place to go when you want somewhere a bit special.
